Andy Timmons is one of my fav guitarist. He's got great tone, techniques, and so much control in his playing not to mention great songwriter too.
I remember once showing his song "Gone" to another guitarist and he was like " cool when is he gonna bust into some great chops?" Hm I think he's kind of missing the point :) Surely He has scary techniques but he uses them For the music.
